Details & Regulations
- The panel of judges is made up of representatives from Sigma Coatings Ltd and the interior design team which will see the winning project through to finish.
- The interior design team is made up of graphic, spatial and interior designers from Switch Design and Brand Strategy of Mallia Building, Triq in-Negozju, Mriehel.
- All 10 finalists may be called upon to attend a brief meeting with the panel of judges and interior design team to discuss their entry project as part of the selection process for the Grand Prize Winner.
- The Grand Prize Winner will be announced on Friday 10th July 2015.
- The Grand Prize Winner will be selected from among the 10 finalists based on the creativity, originality and overall visual appeal of the proposed project. The participant’s ability to see the project through to completion by mid-September 2015 will also be taken into consideration for the selection process.
- Once the Grand Prize Winner is announced, the interior design team from Switch Design and Brand Strategy together with the Sigma Coatings team will arrange a meeting with the winner to discuss the renovation project in detail.
- The €1000 prize money must be allocated towards furniture, fabrics, accessories or other expenses of the room renovation. The interior design team will help the winner select and purchase the items required and handle all pay for all expenses out of the prize budget.
- The Grand Prize Winner must fully accept the commitment and responsibility involved in accepting the room-renovation prize.
- The Grand Prize Winner will be expected to cooperate in full with both the interior design team and the Sigma Coatings team in order to complete the room renovation by mid-September 2015. This will involve setting appointments with the interior design team at the renovation premises during the planning, execution and finishing stages of the renovation.
- The Grand Prize Winner agrees to the use of his/her name, photograph and images of the room in both the Before and After stages for use in promotional material.
- Should the Grand Prize Winner fail to adhere to the commitments of the room renovation, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the renovation and transfer the prize onto another participant.
